New ROV to extend our operational range

Earlier this month Drafinsub upgraded its ROV fleet with a brand-new iCon Saab Seaeye Falcon with a fully featured NDT package.

Sized one meter long and depth rated up to 300msw, propelled by five powerful thrusters and controlled with an intelligent control architecture, this powerful unit has the control and power to manoeuvre with exactitude whilst loaded with equipment, and still hold steady in strong cross currents and turbulent water when undertaking precise, complex or robust tasks.

We chose the Falcon because it’s the industry standard, it’s is reliable, scalable and suitable for a wide range of underwater tasks, from observation to non-destructive testing and survey.

With this new entry in our ROV fleet we can now offer our survey services up to 300m and give assistance to the divers of our oncoming 300msw rated saturation system.
