The Nazario Sauro submarine

Mooring operations today

Operations carried out today to allow the return of the famous submarine Nazario Sauro to the mooring in the Darsena in Genoa.

In fact, it had been moved at the end of June, to allow for extraordinary maintenance to be carried out. The ‘restoration’ was carried out in a dock of the Military Arsenal of La Spezia. Just today it has returned to be part of the Open Air Museum of the Darsena, right in front of the Museum of the Sea.

Pilots, mooring men and commercial divers, including the Drafinsub Underwater Technical Operators, have lent their professionalism to allow operations to be carried out with extreme precision and in total safety.
