In February 20th Saturation diving operations started in Garda Lake.
Pontoon Umberto I is fully mobilized with SAT System Raffaella, Air Diving Spread, 3 electric generators, mooring winches and 12’000 cubic meters of Heliox.
Scope of work is the rehabilitation of the two pipelines which cross the lake from Torri del Benaco to Toscolano Maderno, by the positioning of mechanical clamps in the corroded sections between 186 m and 40 m of depth. The pipelines are affected by MIC (Microbially Induced Corrosion) which will be removed and the pipelines will repaired and protected with epoxy resin and clamps.
